I've finally got rid of the carbuncle on the back of my bike

I think that SV650/1000 S are nice looking bikes - with the exception of the rear end. I don’t normally do any kind of modification to my bikes, with the possible exception of an end can or braided hoses…

However when I bought my Sv I vowed to rid the world of the monstrosity on the rear of the bike… today after 60 days of ownership I finally got rid of it…

Whad’ya think?

Looks much better - the standard plate hangers are fugly to say the least !!

Nice set of small indicators would finish the job off nicely!

That looks much better mate, finally got rid of that snow plough :stuck_out_tongue:

you started well but then put the old indicators back on so…

+5 for effort
-7 for foolishness :stuck_out_tongue:

thats makes your new back end -2

Excellent job - cleans up the lines of the bike massively and makes the rear end look sexy not fugly. I’m gonna have to sort this out on mine too.

I’m a man of very little means… I can’t afford new indicators at the moment… in fact I couldn’t afford a new bike and a tail tidy either…It’s a work in progress…I’ve also got to save up for a new can:D

Mate look on fleabay you can get nice mini indies for about 11 quid a pair - even I could stretch to that!

…and looking at your photos again it would make SUCH a difference!

looks much better mate!!

all ya need now is a decent pipe on it! MHP,Blueflame etc
