Boo. Bad luck dude. GWS.
Holy cow pat Batman!!! That looks a bit messy.
Get well soon Jay and best of luck with the insurance, they might even get you a courtesy bike … an SV or a bandit.
And another thing, do you carry your camera with you everywhere? You’re like a real life Jimmy Olsen … even with a busted shoulder, bruises to your legs and NUTS (ouchy) … you still have the composure to take pictures. Did you get any shots of the young damsel that distressed you so? Name and shame!
glad you are ok, if your job is paying you, whilst you are off, tel them to put a claim in for your wage,
i did the same, they put it down to R,T,A instead of sick.
good luck with the claim, hope it s quick,
Unlucky dude…Let me know if you need any help.
Looking at it, its the classic bus lane danger where theres a side road. Cagers concentrate on the main car lane and ignore bikes in the bus lane, thinking they will see a great big bus and forget about cyclists and bikers. Either pulling in or out they dont look.
I always slow for these junctions, see many guys that dont, but looks like even at that low speed you didn’t stand a chance.
Hope you mend soon fella and the claim goes through smoothly.
Not nice Jay but glad you are ok.
looks like it knocked your visor off too!..
So sorry to hear this buddy!
Hope you are up and running again soon. And looking on the bright side, it means you get to play with new paint schemes!
Get well soon.
Nasty, GWS
Very sorry to hear this, I hope you heal quick and get the bike/claim sorted soon.
Looks like you might be in the market for a loud f***-off pair of horns when you get back on the road, can’t beat a set of Stebel Magnums. Copious use of those might… just might… have stopped her in her tracks.
Shitty news dude. Hope you are rested and raring to go shortly.
Sorry to hear your shoulder pain has been confirmed as a fracture.
Regarding the comment above about it being 50:50 - HWC 159 is very much in your favour -
- When turning
• keep as close to the left as is safe and practical
• give way to any vehicles using a bus lane, cycle lane or tramway from either direction.
Dam mate, lucky escape on that one! Better start working to pay that karma debt off
Oh mate!
So sorry to hear that. Such a nice bike!
I kid, I kid, more sorry to hear that your poorly and that the hassle of insurance claims is now upon you.
Damned bad timing as well.
That’s truly an ‘oh my god!’ photo. Luckily no-one else was in the room at the time.
Or the second.
PS. make sure Fletcher’s are on the case
