Greetings from Kabul on a dull, cloudy Friday - the weekly holiday here. The trees are losing their leaves and through the window the street is untarmacked and pretty dry and dusty; a military police car is sitting outside and the guards are playing loud Afghan songs on a tinny radio and having a shouting conversation with an elderly Afghan man. I can hear what sounds like gun shots in the distance, but not many. It’s not half as hot as Islamabad.
I miss my Triumph.
When this madness is over and am back on safer soil, will see you folks for some beers and valium at the Ace, BMM, Christmas party;), Box Hill or other such lovely place:P:D:D
