Isn't London Beautiful?

I just drove over Blackfriars Bridge at around 4am and while glancing up and down the river I couldn’t help thinking how lovely the view of the riverfront was at that time of the day. All the buildings and lights reflecting off the water makes a beautiful sight.

Whats your favourite view of London and why?

Looking down the Thames at night is nice with the lights reflecting off the water.

Serpentine, Hyde Park - This morning, just before 6, feeding the birds as the sun was coming up and there was a slight mist on the water.

I love the view of London from the Greek Islands…Superb !!!

Driving across Waterloo Bridge in the dark and looking at London by night

Tower bridge upstream early morning or evening’s nice too.

The view from the Observatory in Greenwich Park is pretty special, I love sitting up there with my headphones in, listening to music and enjoying the view. (day or night)

funny this post should come up today, as we were riding home from a meet at 2.30am this morning and coming across london bridge i looked left and right across the thames and tower bridge all lit up looked so nice

I love london I worked up there for 2.5 years and then got moved to croydon I was gutted, my fav is comming over london bridge at night, the sceney is amazing and agreed the lights on the water is great

Looking across to Canary Wharf from Connaught Bridge by City Airport-quiet spectacular at dusk.

And riding along the Embankment from Chelsea to Tower Bridge at dawn. Empty roads, clean air, fantastic views. London at its best. Rivals any other European city there.

looking at the sparks fly off my knees round stockley

I suppose thats a change of tack, not quite the misty eyed post like the previous ones, but I see your point:P

looking over london from alexandra palace isnt bad

Walking along the south bank at night is lovely (although not something I’d like to do on my own) - the twinkly blue lights in the trees and set into the pavement are cool

those twinkly blue lights, u mean police lights??

Nooo. I try to avoid that kind of twinkly blue lights unless it involves work :stuck_out_tongue:

Heading south down the M3…
