Re traffic - just been over London Bridge and Tower bridge (for those of you in the know, I was NOT running on satnav power. I went over both bridges on purpose! 
) and past Borough Market, and the roads are pretty clear. Should be ok for later hopefully.

I spose if everything has been diverted it would be quiet. Still the fire is in bermondsey. There has been 3 in the last couple of weeks. First was that building site, then the Cutty Sark now another builders yard.

I’m so glad I don’t live in Bermondsey anymore AND took my bike today to get to work.

Due to a fire incident at London Bridge Station, it will remain closed to the public until approximately 1900hrs tonight and may remain closed until 0700hrs tomorrow morning. Please be advised that Ccannon Street station is also closed and all trains arriving at those stations will be redirected to Victoria Station.

How many turned up last night? Was going to take a ride up with Meeks as havent been to one in ages, but decided against it due to the fire…
fire didnt affect us in anyway, we didnt even know it had happened till after we got home, dont no the number but there was alot of people and bikes there this week.
It was my first one. Good to see everyone and their rides.

i live in bermondsey and have done all me life, there is crime around but believe me i would rather live around here than many a london borough, to be honest i would not live anywhere else in london.
The fire in bermondsey was a garage, under the train line in blue anchor st, sabotage, i dont think so there was a casualty and although he did not die was badly hurt.
Also, Greenwich is not in bermondsey.
I used to live in Peckham, so Bermondsey is definitly a move in the right direction.
well there was me, terrymoto, shewolf and suzic all at traffic lights nr shepherds bush coming home, when i blasted off at the lights, followed by the telster pulling a wheelie, followed by a police undercover galaxy pulling us over for our erratic behavoiur! whoops sorry mr occifer! hehe Twas tezzers fault really, hes so competative!
