How come all the big road racing - IOM / Ulster / NW200 - are all in the NW - nothing in the SE of England? We’ve got plenty of rural roads too.

It would never, ever, be allowed in England. Far too dangerous.
The only remaining ‘race’ event on public roads in England - the Brighton speed trials on that road right along the seafront - has now been cancelled this year because of the tragic death last year and ongoing inquest. As it has been cancelled this year, I very much doubt it will be allowed next year. Or ever.
Shame though… Imagine the road racers going round Richmond Park!!!

Road racing in the SE not a chance … Like when there was rumours of an F1 race in London , Monaco stylee … you just knew that was never gonna happen . TT is a great spectacle and a fine tradition but OOMMGG the costs , the costs , the COSSTTSSS . Its not a budget holiday thats for sure . Me on my own in the Isle for 10 days cost twice as much as a family of four in a beachside 5 star apartment with its own private pool and hot and cold running service in Portugal .
