Introducing my Aprilia Shiver

Well, after just joining LondonBikers this week, just wanted to introduce to you my

Aprilia Shiver 750

08 plate, originally with gold frame and silver paint job…

but with me being Dutch, i wanted an orange bike, so with some help of my mate uncle bambam…

So apart from the paint job, what else is non-standard?

  • carbon fibre side panels, key surround, mud guard

  • beowolf exhaust

  • wavey discs

  • Tuono Brembo brakes and upside down forks.

  • Tuono handle bar clamp

  • Factory racing brake and clutch fluid pots

  • Factory racing tank protector

  • braided hoses

  • clutch and brake levers, handle bar ends

  • belly pan

  • radiator grill

  • tax disc holder

so now most of the work is done, this is me a couple of weeks ago… best thing is, everywhere i go the boys are so impressed, when i take my helmet off or put my helmet on for the next ride out, they all come up to me to say, they like my bike, and never expected that it is a girl riding this beauty!

Thats a lovery looking bike you have.

You should bring it , & and urself to one of the LB meets on Wednesdays, BM being the offical, or BH tea hut or Ace cafe,

Not sure what area Ur staying in, but one of them should not be too far away.

thanks all! one day i ride it over with some buddies of mine…hoping to keep the bike scratch free riding through london… will sure be checking for tips before i attempt this :blink: till then, i will be bikeless when you see me… best chance is at borough market, but not this wednesday… “hosting” some family members who bought ticket for this event that is apparently going on at the mo :hehe: - they have never been to london before, tourists hey! :stuck_out_tongue:

my bike got dirty after the weekends rain - feeling so guilty, i just shot it in the garage yesterday without cleaning, and now i am back in london, i am starting to feel guilty, cos I can’t go home to clean it until Friday! …:unsure:

Hi Clogge. Like the Aprilia, but i’m betting the photo’s really don’t do it justice. Would be great to see it at Boxhill maybe in the future.:cool:

you’re right matey, the pics REALLY DON’T do it justice. one day soon, i’ll bring it to the ACE cafe!

and yeah buying a ktm may have been easier, but nowhere near as much fun as rebuilding the shiver turning it into tuono / factory racing cloned shiver :hehe:
