INNOVV - new camera system

https://innovv.co.uk/products/k2/ - not just an upgrade to their previous model (K1), but fully redesigned, different factory, etc.

Looks quite good from initial research, and I’m probably going to get it when it hits the UK in a few weeks (especially as I’ve been in the process of re-doing my existing K1 setup due to some issues).

I’m sure @wise uses the current INNOVV system and i’m seriously debating it upgrading from the current having to recharge daily one.

Having read that though. 1080 @30fps. Not sure I’m happy with that. My Drift does that but I use 720P @60fps. Just my thoughts though.

I have both a K1 and a C5
Both in a box waiting for me to fit either one on the triumph
The K1 can suffer from electrical interference
And vibrations where the cables work loose
The C5 works great but doesn’t like recording on a 10min loop
They are both micro SD card fickle
You have to fit what’s reconvened and use a sd card formatter not just use Windows to format the card

I’ve been meaning to get one of these so be interested to see what you think of the new one @sn1ke

@Wise agreed re issues on the K1. My front one also keeps cutting out. K2 is a brand new system/board/firmware, so hopefully has resolved things. Connections are now also backed with a screw to keep in place.
The DVR is now IP65 rated too.
Also comes with mounting accessories, which is good!

@The_Sleeper it also does 720P @60fps as well

@Curtis I’ll def keep you updated on things.

My major challenge is going to be working out how to fit this now on the bike! Might have to redesign some things

@sn1ke did you purchase this yet?

Not yet - waiting for something else at the moment. Hope to be able to get it in the next month or so

Might take the plunge and order it next week, just waiting for an invoice to be paid up.

The other online reviews look pretty good and having just spoke to them I’m impressed with the customer service/sales patter

Just to throw this out there
have been using one of these for over a year on the gtr and no issues

video footage is suitable for needs
very small cameras

@Curtis indeed so. Have you been dealing with the UK reseller, or the main guys directly?

@sn1ke the Uk importer

@TimR I’ll check it out

I’ve got a new one from Blueskysea fitted, front and back cameras -

Not bad. Looks like you need something to dampen out the vibrations for the rear one?

Yeah, not an ideal place to install, but probably better than my other options.
