I have six instock now!!! so if you want one PM me

the light would be on all the time!!!

considering around london and the nice roads we like tend to have speed cameras so… you might get used to the light being on…

hmmmMMm… its a thought… am considering getting the t-mobile phone with sat nav which has all the speed cameras on it anyways… then mount it onto my bike other trips around london rarely speeding and usually know where the cameras are…

but thanks for the heads up!

Sounds a good Idea, I have a Super Neo 3 fitted on the PAJ.

I need one. My licence is the cleanest it has ever been and if I want to keep it that way I need to avoid Police traps, speed traps, speed cameras, but not specs whoever thought that capturing the front number plate shoudl be shook by the hand.

Is this thing really acurate though or will the light come on if there is a camera in close range ie another street away?

The expensive ones are really precise aren’t they telling you exactly how far ahead the camera is and what type of camera etc.

It is GPS based so it only comes on if it knows there’s a camera there - i.e. no false alarms. It is green most of the time and then goes red if you’re approaching a camera and flashes red if you’re approaching over the speed limit. I’ve had mine since the bike show and it’s great. The only thing that confuses it a bit is when you’re somewhere like the M4 flyover section above Chiswick and it detects the speed camera on the A4 below you.

If you’re approaching the Hanger Lane underpass going westbound it detects the A40 camera much earlier than normal because it knows that you’re not going to get a reception whilst you’re under the tunnel or for a few seconds after you come out. Nice touch, I thought.

Trying to work out where to put the receiver can be a bit tricky at first. You can’t have it under the seat (line of sight to the satelites required). I eventually mounted it on top of the brake fluid reservoir and it blends right in being black. You wouldn’t even notice it.

Big thumbs up from me, especially at £99.

Got tom tom go in the van with speed camera database programmed in, priceless.

Can’t wait for tom tom rider to come out, top of my wish list.

you could put it under the seat if your seat is plastic.

GPS receivers don’t have to be on show, as long as they are underneath plastics or foam, they’ll be fine.

Ideal places are;

Under fairings, under rear fairings near brake light.

They must face skywards though!

Just thought I’d clear that up, having cables wrapping around your steering column would be dangerous!
