I'm finally a rider! =]

Hi everyone. I posted on these forums about a year ago talking about the bike i was going to get with my hard-saved money… turned out i couldnt afford much when i factored in the price of leathers/helmet and such, so i put it off…I have now (finally) bought my first bike.

Honda NSR 125

happy edit:I don’t really use the name UberMonkey anymore… too long, from now on i’ll be Mooney

Hi again

H and welcome aboard.

enjoy it and drive safe

Ema

hi there, nice bike, i wanted one of these when i was younger!

Hi, this is my first post.

I am Mooney’s friend! He is persuading me to get a bike, and I am giving into it so quickly!!! I love the idea now.

Mooney is a real legend, and im proud to be his friend.

I am soooo going to copy you and get a Honda NSR you biaaatcchh

hi and welcome

Er…they wern’t out when you were younger westy lmfao

welcome mooney and enjoy ya bike

of course you are. why wouldnt you? its sexy. =]

i’m looking forward to the londonbikers trips. Its going to be such a weird feeling… I’m a student and as such a social gathering without alcohol is quite alien to me, but a gathering of bikers will generally mean no alcohol…looking forward to it

Vodka and Redbull…

Minus the Vodka…

Caffeine Junkiez with Reflexes like Catzzzzzz.

Nom Nom Nom!

Hello, welcome back! Congratulations on getting the bike  See you around… Becareful at this time of year…

yeah… well, i’ll be learning to ride when the roads are a bit slippery, so from the start i’ll get used to being extra careful for some super safety…

then when the good weather comes back in it’ll seem easy! =]

Theres a motorcycle society here at uni, but when i spoke to them during the society fayre they said they were going to be hiring a minibus to go see a race or show or something… kinda defeats the point of being a motorcycle society if you don’t ride to places in my opinion >< Can’t wait to meet you all and ride somewhere interesting… though i’ll just end up feeling horribly inferior with my L plates still on… i plan to get rid of those ASAP though, how many hours riding experience do you think it would take before someone is ready to take their test? i plan on riding for about 2 months (riding a LOT), then doing a 2 day intensive course+test. I’d like to get rid of the L plates (and restrictor plate) as soon as possible.

Welcome, and ride safely
