Venice. Doesn’t take ages to get to, no traffic so much more relaxed, not many places have WiFi so you avoid Facebook. The Lido is idyllic as well to avoid the crowds.
Yeah if it’s further afield, got to spend more time. Maybe unspoiled rural Eastern Europe? What’s Estonia like I wonder…

Banman, Lithuania has a beautiful scenery as well as Estonia, actually, you should do the trip in all three baltic countries if you wish

Corsica. you can get there in 2 days on the bike and it’s got great roads, beaches and mountains.
Depends on what I wanted out of the week. Biking, Wales or Scotland, otherwise a tropical island with some good books and no internet.

I cannot comment on the rest of the country as I only had 10 hours each time and we had to be back on board ship, but…It is a country I would like to go back and explore more of based on my limited time and experience there
