ahhh…memories. That blade is called a “Balisong” in the philippines…think we call it a butterfly knife here. Still got mine frm when i was a teen…cuz one was just stupid to go out on town at night without one…too much crime, A good blade was able to punch a hole thru a 25 centavo coin which is about as thick as a 1 pound coin. Cops never bothered anyone carrying one as long as they did not have any gang-related tattoos. The trick is to let the downward motion of your hand make the thing swing around in a arc and move your middle finger out of the way just in time. A friend of mine could do it with 2 in both hands just like this girl…usually flicking them around like this used to be enuff to deter corner thieves and bullies.
