YES!
It’s like sitting on a sowing machine. Gutless and no fun out of town. Get the GS instead.
I agree, it must be the GS1200
see I’ve got a 600 now and it’s perfect for me… I sat on the 1200 at the show and I couldn’t touch the floor… then I rode Charlies in France and I thought it was wonderful as I pulled the front end up outside the war museum… but it’s just so BIG!
It just looks so much more of a bike than the 650.
I’m not denying that the 1200 is a sexy sexy machine… I’m just being a little realistic… it’s too tall for me and I can afford the 650 and have enough dosh left over to put some decent kit on it.

I’d rather stay with what you already have than change to something of the approx same cc and have your servicing bills go throught he roof!!
who said I was going to change… this would be an addition to the family of Cashmore bikes… and I do my own servicing now…

The F650GS is boring. Gutless. Very uninspiring.
have you had a go?
Buy the Aston!
I’ve rode the CS650 ( the one with the rear tank and empty tank in front of ya) from south london BMW.
gutless and boring.
Yes. Seriously, it’s a single and doesn’t go. You’re used to an inline 4 600. Go for a test ride then wash your mouth out with fuel additive
okay! I’ll book a test ride… and then buy the car.
why not go for the older gs 1100, u can pick em up well cheap these days and they are very reliable!!! and you will have more cash! ha ha ha, get it?! doh!
I had a go on a mates F650…awful is the only word to describe it! I wouldn’t mind trying the 1200GS though, it looks like the motorbike equivalent of a Tonka toy!
I applied online yesterday to BMW south london to test ride the 1200GS for next saturday afternoon. (9th)
I will let you know if they tell me to pi** off or not!!
S’funny how a bike can inspire someone to passion …
… whilst it leaves other bikers stone cold…
…but the bike in question may still be a great bike.
Sorry but this one leaves me stone cold…
