i bought a router from fleebay as my one was being a pain (orange broadband) its a netgear DG834G but on setting it up it has asked me for a username and password which i dont have the buyer has not given me this bit of info and has not got back to me.
is there anything i can do in the mean time?

Unplug telephone line from it, hold reset for 10 secs, new credentials are admin : password or admin : 1234.

+1 the above commentAssuming you are trying to log into the router.
Unless its asking for your internet connection user and pass which comes from Orange.
