I think that the phrase “Tally Ho” has been largely overlooked in the mordern day, along with “Toodle pip” and “Whoops a daisy”. These phrases, once embedded in the Englishman’s psyche, hold the key to today’s youth ditching the knives, drugs and guns and becoming jolly decent cravat-wearing chaps once more.
