what a relief, my instructor made me practice the u-turns (my bad point) on a very narrow road just before the test, instant full lock required to do it, messed it up 95% of the time and egad even dropped the bike at 0mph!!
the other chap training with me (DVLA had lost his entitlement, muppets) passed in the morning so no pressure as it was either A roads or M23 back up to London
test was easy in comparison, mucho thanks to Jim (125s) and Richard (500s) at Elite for some great and very patient training! http://www.elitemotorcycletraining.com/
noticed riders out of town are far more polite, lots of nodding even when separated from my instructor due to traffic
Well done! it’s such a great feeling I also had problems with the Uies and remember Richard being very patient, but still took the pi$$ constantly! The guys at Elite are fab!
Chunky’s right, now the real learning begins Enjoy!
Nice one! Now you can’t wait to get your bike I suspect…
I noticed the nodding out of town actually. I rode down to my Dad’s place in the country my first weekend with my bike and every biker I past gave me a nod - quite nice. I get the odd nod in town from other triple riders, but not many.
congrats!! i can remember that feeling!, i cant believe its 3 years ago next month!!! blimey how time flies!! Well take it steady and enjoy every minute.
