We all make mistakes - its a way of proving we are human
Personally, Id be looking at other work available - not because I thought I wouldnt get through it, but to give myself the opportunity to show my own worth and to not rely on anyone else: if Im capable of doing two jobs, then I have the choice. If I can only do one, then my choice is in someone else’s hands and we all know how crap it can be to have to rely on someone else to make the right decision.
After all, we all make mistakes and they might make one today.
Sorry if that’s not what you wanted to read - but I’m afraid I don’t trust my life in anyone’s hands but my own and a very select few. My advice, intended to help
Bad luck m8. Presumably, this being the airline industry, your company has some sort of “CRM” and doesn’t play the blame game. If you’ve made a mistake with quicyquonces, it is far more valuable to them to analyse the events and making sure chances of a repeat is minimised than giving you a kicking.
Good luck today mate, some very good posts up here and I’d echo whats been said… conduct yourself in a positive manner and try your hardest to show them that you take your job immensely seriously and how much it means to you.
Hope all goes well and like the others have said write down everything that led up to the incident and everything afterwards, it’ll help and keep your mind clear rather than having to worry about trying to remember things.
Also you should be able to take someone into the meeting with you, even if they don’t recognise unions.

Hey, although I’ve never you, I can guarantee one thing… you’re human, we all are, we all make mistakes. I know its not much comfort at the moment but if they cant see your worth to the company and all the things you’ve done for them over the years, maybe they dont deserve your services. I cant imagine how or what your feeling at the moment but I know everybody here is behind you 100%.

for all the really sound advice…ive dug a jotter out and have been going threw paperwork all morning with countless amounts of coffie …so im pinging quite abit at the moment…
i got some great advice last night from freinds and feel positive yet,my arse is chuffing still quite abit…
i did’nt really want to put something like this on the site,but i just needed to read what peoples thoughts were before i went in,as ive got no experience atall with things like this and theres all sorts of people on here with jobs in this feild…plus,i havent told my girlfreind so it might be alittle bit of a shock if i come home with no job…
