I nearly dropped my bike at the Ace last night...

Nearly is fine. Actually dropping it is, well just horrible really.

The ST owners forum has a stat on the post info bar which indicates the number of times dropped. Very thought provoking … most have dropped their Pan at least once :w00t: and at no speed.

Went for years without dropping my Fazer…then dropped it twice (once on each side) in the space of two weeks…much less cocky these days

IMO, this is the best ‘picking up a bike’ vid on YouTube (covers both sides) - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pPjYweKeiLk

what do you expect…if you had nearly dropped your bike onto mine im sure you would have had a little bit more than me "jumping out of my chair " but at least you didnt hit it…would of been a different story all together

We’ve all dropped our bikes at one point or another so nothing to be embarrassed about (unless your s erial dropper lol :stuck_out_tongue: ), never dropped it at the ace but I do feel really nervous moving my bike there when it’s really busy cos you just know everyone will see if you do drop it!!!

I was there when you done this, from where the guy was sitting it would have looked like your bike had hit his so I can’t blame him for jumping out of his seat, his bike was mint.

There’s no doubting you’re a couple

Of course I don’t blame him, sorry if you read it as though I do.
And yes, it’s luck I didn’t hit it, the would have pleased the insurance companies.

Luckily everyone was so accomodating of the noob on the Hornet and there was no gossip or bad mouthing

Lol actually if you’re trying to imply we are ganging up on you then you’re wrong we both just obviously feel the same n I didn’t even realise she had posted til now

Nothing to do with us being a couple or ganging up on you, I was merely stating that I was there and saw what happened, I didn’t realise Curtis had posted either, do you really think me and Curtis call each other up and talk about you and how to gang up on you, get real lol I’ve better things to do with my spare time :PI was just pointing out that I saw you drop your bike that time and from where the guy was sitting it did very much look like your bike hit his so can you not understand why he jumped up to go check, you’d do the same if your bike was as mint as his was.

Don’t worry, I’m not implying anything, just that you both think in a similar way, which is common for couples; as you said:

What? No getting real needed, I don’t think that.

Please credit me with the intelligence and compassion to understand. I thought I had made it clear that I do:

Of course, I would have got a shock in that situation.

“Hi, my name is Garret and I am addicted to the quote button” :w00t:

It could have been as embarrasing as this…

 (and smileys)

Just want my words to be read in context.

Believe me, I felt terrible and very embarrassed about the situation :pinch:

Nah, the people laughing at me didn’t actually lust after my bike!

Every one was laughing at me:w00t: (W@nkers) I never felt embarrassed:Whistling: Well put it this way, if it wasn’t fo PJ I would have gone never to be seen again, so you can all blame PJ for me still being around:DYou’ve also got to take the good from every bad situation, I get left plenty of space for parking;)

Garret, just dont tell them what you did the week before  p.s. take a chill pill dude you need it

No 'kin way! hehe

Am I coming across like that? I hope not.

I didn’t read that into your posts.

I will be down the BM at some point, just for the sake of taking a ride out, glorious sunshine outside.
