I actually enjoyed the ride in this morning! I must be some kind of sicko! New lid fits good and doesnt steam up at all but 10 miles of filtering non stop on the M25 at 6am in the p1ssing rain! I must be going insane! Am I?

When I first passed my DAS 18 months ago the sight of spot of rain would fill me with dread. Now I also enjoy it…look on it as a challenge and a chance to improve my handling skillls.
Oh I polished my helmet for a good 5 mins after I came in to get it dry and shiny again lol 
and the bonus is…

Terry, when you first get a lid that doesn’t mist up in the rain, it is an absolute joy, I agree! My Suomy Spec-1-R was the first helmet to do that, and it’s still working, superb! Plus I like sliding it around a little in the rain.
I have never had an anti fog insert in any of my lids and as I wear glasses too riding in the rain was such a nightmare. Visor and glasses used to fog up and I would have to keep stopping. Its only a small thing but having the visor clamped shut and mist free was wicked!

Terry didn’t Steve throw in a small tube of helmet polish (hes so tight) if not come see me ill sort you out with one it stops your wrists from getting sore and leaves your helmet with a lovely new shine
