Feel exactly the same. Had a Suz 1000g, lovely touring bike, comfortable, ate the miles but a bit of a big lug. Went sportier after that - Yam 650 turbo, couldn’t have been all that bad kept it for 21 years, but the Thundercat eclipses the lot. She can rise to the occasion when the ‘big boys’ want to play.
Recently did a bit of touring, 2000 miles in a week, no discomfort or any problems (except I got a cold!). This included a ride-out with the owners club. Most had owned 'cats so knew what they are like, but those there that hadn’t been that close before were amazed “your bike can’t half shift” says one 1300 owner.
It’s more than just the pace that makes it perfect for me, after all I don’t go that fast - honest :doze:
