I Like London because.......

…I can do anything, at any time of the day or night, so much to explore, and get out and about with my mates

carry on…

i like the pace of life

pish off lou!

gimme a nice river, a nice house in teh middle of no where and a field full of lemon…and i be a happy ratty:D

I love London as its the home of the best bike club in the world:)

I wouldn’t wanna live there though;)

the pace of life suites me grand. My hometown is very slow and you feel you never get anywhere because folks take their time…all the time!! So its nice to get things/places quicker. Saying that New York’s pace is much much faster than ours!

:w00t:

…there’s always a tw@t to arrest!.

nah, stace aint that kinda girl

r u a real copper?

how do we know u aint a wanabe? :w00t:

I love London because it’s got people from all walk’s of life, a place to get p***ed 24hr’s of the day, load’s of tea-hut’s and mostly that it become’s my playground in the early hours of the morning!!! :stuck_out_tongue:

Oh yeah, and I also get to ride with some of the best people I know! Big up for LB…

its not to far from the nice place I live in if I want to visit the sights or paint the town red

and quiet often its a soft shandy drinking southern one which is even more satisfying

I used to like london, but when you leave it life outside it is much better, I got twisty roads… hang on my road is twisty  and there is a fishing lake 2 miles away and bedford 8 miles away and that is like most crappy london high streets for pubs bars and bad night clubs.

The only thing I do miss is being able to go to Fabric after work and if I try to now I get there @ 4am :frowning: still now its summer they are open till 8am

Haaaa!!! Sad but true! :w00t:

ok…why i like london…hmmmm…

ive got 24hrs mcdonalds when im on my way home from a friday night riot with the boys and girlys from Lb…

ive met some crackin pll here that will do anything for you at the drop of a hat…

i can step out my door and either go into the country or go into the city(either being 20 mins away)…

theres always somthing to do if you yap to the right ppl…

the pace of life here meets the pace i currently inhibit…

even on a sunday,i can still get things done…

thats all i can think of right now…

smiled:).

You should get out our way more as we have those too

it’s not Scotland!

No, but seriously, everythings on your doorstep in London, if I want to eat any style of food it’s only a short cab/tube ride away. Denmark St for guitars, I live round the corner from Regents Park, there’s always a decent gig on somewhere in the city. One day I nipped into Sound Control on Oxford St for a pack of strings and who was there giving a clinic only John Petrucci!!! Wouldn’t happen in Cumbernauld my hometown!!! It’s one of the worlds greatest cities for good reason.

shando

i like it because for me it feels like home.

I love London because it is my home.

Hear, hear! As much as I love dear old Scotland and how it was a good home for me for 22 years, there will be no chance I’d move back there until I hit 65+.

I’m relatively new to London, was hoping to emigrate fairly quickly once I got work experience…but I just can’t help but love the place. So much to do…so little time.
