Its awsome to see all the replys, thank you everyone! To be honest I we only met him just before the france trip but sometimes you know when youve met a good freind!
Ive got three numbers on my phone for who I can call for a rideout
Miggy, Adrian and James…
They say you can make hundreds of freinds but you always have a few you keep closer than the rest, Although I didnt know James that well he would have been welcome to be part of my closest friends because he was a top lad, good natured and fun to be around. This is truily a tradgidy and he will be missed by what I can only imagine to be every person who ever met him.
I know if you dont the person this wont really reach you that close to the heart but please dont let another loss of this magnitude go with a lesson learned. dont let this just be a sad thread you apply your condolences to. Learn from the lesson James has left for us
He was an excellent rider, who I felt confident with on a ride out, he wore full leathers and top of the range helmet, He wasnt a loone (Except on the track :P).
SO DONT TAKE CHANCES IT COULD HAPPEN TO ANY OF US. I’ll continue to ride bikes for the rest of my life becasue its where my passion lies but I promise to James I will make sure his lesson will not be wasted on me, I’ll remember him for the rest of my life.
I met Miggy and Ryan today… Didn’t really show my true feelings about it… I read all the posts now and cried like never before… I haven’t been too close to James but he was top fella and it’s sad to loose somebody like him !
Hope to meet You at this second, better side one day. Hope your soul is riding bikes now constantly, and loves it, enjoys it as much as you did here with us…
i trust i know how are you feeling now. i’ve only just witnessed my mates horrible death 4 weeks ago. i believe a lot of lb’ers have some similar experiences and will come up if you ask for help. but don’t be obliged to receive help if solitude and silence is your thing.
i have just come home from work and am absolutely devastated to hear of this news…if theres anything i can do…or even be an ear …please give me a PM mate…
this thread has really touched my heart and if theres anything a community can do…its this one.your honestly with the best of people on here at a difficult time like this…
sleep tight brother…
i will look up at a star before i go to bed tonight
Cant imagine how you must be feeling at this time, but can only feel for you and all who knew him? So sad and like all of us on LB who have read this, just feel empty and sad too. You are so right, just because we all wear the right gear, doesnt mean we are immune to the thoughtless road users out there?
I hope you can take some comfort from the picture of you both and in time it will make you smile with the memories…we are all right behind you buddy with any support we can.
Im sorry i wont be able to make the funeral, and im gutted but ive already booked a day off for tues the 29th and cant take another, but i will be thinking of the day.
MAY THE SUN RISE IN FRONT OF ME AND MAY THE RAIN FALL BEHIND ME AND THE WIND FOLLOW ME.
MAY THE ANGELS OF MY BROTHERS AND SISTERS WHO HAVE GONE BEFORE ME GUARD MY TRAVELS FOR THEY KNOW THE PERILS OF THE ROAD AHEAD OF ME.
KEEP ME SAFE THROUGH THE ROUGH CITY STREETS ON MY WAY TO THE LAND OF SWIRLING TURNS AND ROLLING HILLS.
LET THE COLOURS OF FALL KEEP ME WARM, LET THE EAGLE GUIDE ME TO THE MOUNTAIN TOPS AND LET THE MOONS LIGHT GUIDE ME THROUGH THE NIGHT.
MAY MY TYRES NOT FAIL ME NOR MY ENGINE GROW OLD AND MAY MY BIKE DRAW LIFE FROM THE STREAMS I PASS.
KEEP MY SEAT SOFT AND MY MIND SHARP AND LET THE AIR OF SPRING BREATHE LIFE INTO MY SOUL TO JOURNEY TO ANOTHER ADVENTURE BESIDES MY BROTHERS AND SISTERS.
hey dude that is real bad news…real bad…any idea if we are going to organise a bikers send off…havent time to read all the posts so forgive if its in there already…
