I’m with you on this Rottie, normally I make my own starting time up, but on Monday’s now, I have to come in early for a rather boring department meeting, zzzz

I’m with you on that,hate Mondays, and yes it was cold this morning, might have to ware a lond sleeve shirt under my jacket soon.

Seems a bit like cheating if you can still feel your extemities when you get off the bike in the winter.
Plus i like the odd looks your get from the cars as your drape yourself over the hot engine at the lights.
It was bloody freezing this morning. I hate mondays!! Only in for half day today so thats one good thing!
Whats the difference being a shift worker Monday is just another day like any other. Started nights last night my 5th day of 11 so cant complain, but jeez was it cold even the 7 mle ride home made my fingers ache, have to get the winter gloves out soon

I work in the basement and got no windows obviously. Get here in the dark and leave in he dark i the winter! HATE IT!
Been out on my bike most of the day and it’s lovely. Cold but beautiful 
Weird one this. I find that the faster I ride the hotter my grips get. Just imagine trying to explain that to plod 
‘yes officer, I was exceding the speed limit coz me hands were cold’
yer bike might be overcharging, dodgy regulator, could fry battery in time, worth checking before it lets you down?
As a final note, it being Tuesday now, I dislike Mondays too. Esp ones as cold as this. Beautiful scenery out here in the country mind (if only I’d taken the camera and a spare 20mins), but fingers were useless after 2 miles anyhow.
Reminds me of one of the few redeeming features of the BMW was being able to lean forward and place your frozen hands on the cylinderheads at red lights. With winter gloves on you could hold them there for the red light, and they’d be lovely on toasty warm for the next few mins. Mmmm…
Gonna see if bar-muffs fit 7 tonight. Nobody laugh, she’s always got the hump after seeing signs of the dreaded gritter yesterday. Had to spend an hour washing her when I got in. 
As a result of this thread, I took the afternoon off work and went for a blast! Went out High Wycombe way … my old stomping ground, so familiar roads … still grinning!

Not entirely Monday related, but I thought 7 was a bit loose yesterday and today she was getting very squirrelly around roundabouts and over white lines…
