oh come on this is taking our paranoia about people stealing our bikes and equipment to extreme, i’ve left my helmet in natural history museum and butterfly world in swindon…and it was still there on the floor where i put it behind the counter. personally to minimise chances of them dropping my helmet i always make sure i put it on the floor myself or ask them to leave it on the floor, i rather they kick it accidentaly or their dirty floor, than them dropping it. with regards to them stealing it, then it’s highly unlikely as they are at work, with other staff around and probably cctv, given it’s recession and all and staff are disposable, most people would not risk loosking their job over a helmet…and anyways it be a hassle to sell it too, not that i’ve tried or anything, but who in their right mind would want to buy a used helmet? that’s not even me mentioning that helmets are all different sizes…and finding a person with the same size head would be akward
You may have missed my point Anna:) not saying that the staff/anyone would steal it, just can’t understand why people seem to think that if a lid is dropped, that’s it, fluked, need a new lid!!!:w00t: utter rubbish. even the cheapest of lids will take more than a few drops from a table height without effecting its performance.
Making more of a problem IF it did go walkies, can’t ride home:)
WASP, love the burkha, tempting,
