I feel good..I knew that I would now...

Am feeling tons better, most of the bruising just a shadow of its former glory and the arms and wrists still in plaster but I am sleeping without drugs for the first time last night and feeling better today. |I know the real trial is the task of learning to become left handed whilst my right arm either heals or stays as it is…but I still have use of both hands and am virtually personally independant already…I am feeling good…still having trouble with doing up my trousers…

Just got to talk to DVLA about me disabled sticker and mods to the car and I will be away…got to order the car yet as the doc says dont until I have been in touch with the DVLA to confirm how I can proceed,…

Good to hear that you are both healing and sleeping. Hopefully the healing will gather pace, and you’ll be right as rain shortly.

hang in there man, the road to recovery is a long one for sure. And it’s uphill in places I guess.

Thats exellent new’s:D You got to get back to normal pretty quick…THE COWS NEED YOU!:stuck_out_tongue:

but make sure you do yer trousers up properly or you’ll scare em!

Glad to hear things are mending:)

:)Glad to hear your on the mend

Slowly but surely:cool:

Good to hear you are feeling a bit more chipper mate:)

You’ll soon be chasing them moo-moos again;)

glad to hear your on the mend, keep your chin up and you’ll be back to normal in no time

DVLA may require some sort of off-road assessment to ensure you do not need to have the conditions of your license changed. It may be a good idea to have an assessment even if DVLA do not require one so you understand and adapt to any limitations in a controlled enviroment. You will also be able to discuss any adaptations you may need.

The nearest place to London that does this is the following charity - Queen Elizabeth’s Foundation Mobility Centre (formerly Banstead Mobility Centre), Damson Way, Fountain Drive, Carshalton, Surrey, SM5 4NR. Tel: 020 8770 1151

I have been round their track - it was in a wheelchair, and it was nothing like a trackday! My job once required that I visit to see the services they offer.

There is also one in Berkshire but I don’t know anything about them - Mobility Advice & Vehicle Information Services, O Wing, Macadam Avenue, Old Wokingham Road, Crowthorne, Berkshire, RG45 6XD. Tel: 01344 661000

Good to hear mate, keep up the positive vibes!!! Very important that bit!

RR

I just love you guys you all know so much stuff…wokingham is closest to me…spoke too soon though had a shite middday…fricking spasms…

Glad things are improving 2stroke. Don’t rush it too much and listen to the doctors.

I have to admit, Guilanno is an absolute minefield of information!!!

Glad to hear you had a decent morning, you up for an LB visit at some time?

cant talk much yet…so visit maybe needs to be delaayed a bit…maybe in a couple of weeks…

Do be careful while recovering - the hardest bit for you is stopping yourself from overdoing things.

And no climbing ladders!

good news!! glad its all coming together. but take ur time, your body needs time to heal and recover and do all those amazing things to get u back to normal.

I got excited when i could curl my toes - happened about 4weeks after i broke the leg and hurt like hell but sooo worth the pain hehe. even now when i get cramp in the leg is all good cuz it means i’m feeling again.

and left handed people are more creative

keep up the positive thinking

No problem mate, will delay the visit!

don’t rush mate. it’ll all click into place with time.

Had an awful zombie day today…not even enough energy to fall asleep…incredibly bad day…second worst since being out of hospital…I was hoping to go out to dance classes tonight…no chance of that now…

You’ve got to be patient mate. The body is an amazing self-healer but it takes time and rest mate.

Take it easy me old son:)
