I bought a bike!

Whats up guys!

Finally, it’s happened after patiently waiting… I’ve put a deposit on a private sale bike ( to lock in the deal ) so excited to pick her up! Managed to get the guy down to 4k, bike has done 6k miles and had it’s last major service in August. Current owner has hardly ridden it since purchasing so it’s a good deal I reckon and getting in there before summer prices start to hike.

When is the special day? Saturday 23rd April at Exeter St Davids train station - 11am. I’m gonna be that guy on a train for 2 hours in full leathers so that might be a bit strange but I really couldn’t care less! Too excited to go and get her.

Going to be a long ride back into London so hopefully the weather is good and can’t think of a better way to get acquainted with my new love!

So… here she is… 2008 Honda CBR600RR.

Bring on summer!!

Bah wrong day, picking up my bike on 23rd and heading back from the Isle of Wight on the 24th.

N1 on the bike though :+1::+1:

Thanks guys! I’ll bring to BM the following week so 27th April!

@ILikeTurtles - I’m sure we can go tear up Essex some time man!

That’s a very nice bike! Congrats.

Very nice, I wouldnt ride all the wy home from exeter on motorways as you’ll get bored, try and plan a route with some lanes and twisty roads, it may add an hour or two to the journey but will be well worth it

I’ve found copilot with custom road speeds pretty great for this :+1:

@JAX: no doubt :smiley:

Congrats!

I’d pillion you down there but don’t think I’d keep up with ya on the way back lol

Thanks dude, do you know a good route? I don't want to push it too hard as want to ease into it but some windy roads would be nice!

Curtis
You're a legend dude!

It’s amazing how much procrastinating you can do when you have essays to write :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

I found it with Google: motorcycle routes to Exeter and it bought that up on visor down :innocent:

Nice one Jax, but then I am bias! I love my RR you will never be unhappy with it!
@ Curtis, I am doing the same as you, anything but the essay! What’s the essay on?
