I am now a motorcycle crash repair expert

Edit: ruddy forum software screwing up my images!

The attachment doesn’t work for me, did you develop plastic welding skills or just wrap the bike in gaffer tape?

edit:

Ha, image appeared while I was typing. At the risk of over-engineering things, shouldn’t there be a zip tie option in there somewhere too?

No hammer option either…

Absolutely over simplistic.

The ride out bag I sling on the bike hasn’t been checked in a few years, (let’s hear it for modern motorcycle reliability) but I do know it contains some stiff fencing wire, some bailing twine, Jubilee clips and a flattened out aluminium Coke can, some random spare inner cables and solderless nipples, some light bulbs that probably don’t fit, a small first aid kit that’s probably a health hazard, zip ties and a load of other s**t.

szymon What you have there is the “Commute recovery kit”

puncture kit, the bike tool kit and some gaffa tape - that’s my lot

Cable ties and lots of them

There is a simpler flowchart…

Does it work
Yes: Ride on
No: Remove RAC card from wallet, dial number

cable ties and electrical tape is my best friend and holds my indicators headlight induction bottol on XD

Pfftttt all I need is my lipgloss and a hairband

me too  :stuck_out_tongue:

Funny you should mention hairband… when I was in Naxos I was driving my friend’s Autobianchi to the beach when suddenly all of the gears went… he got under the car and put it in first and we had to drive around everywhere in first. However he later discovered that all was needed was something elastic to hold it in place… Went to the local store bought a hairband and the car was good for the next 3 months!

Not sure exactly what he did under there… but it worked
