Looking good man

You needed someone to do it for you?? :Whistling:

Looks great:) NumNum is a star.

We need a rear hugger - anyone know anywhere we can find a suitable one for a Daytona 955i? Apparently some other Trimuph models will fit but are out of prodcution (just a thought, if anyone has one lying around)

Nah he didn’t really … But I have a stand and bobbins that he does not yet have . Makes the clean up before hand and chain lubrication after easier … We also put on bar risers and exchanged goods from a previous fettling session … I am sitting drinking the goods right now… Cheers Simon

Look good simon / numnum

nice work guys,

Haha fair play…

What’s that thing around your fuel filler cap Simon?

Yeah, much easier on NumNum’s paddock stand and I couldn’t work out how to fit the bar risers (plastic covers on top of the bolts which I couldn’t take off because I was afraid to use enough brute force) and besides I owed him beer already

The thing around the cap is a Givi tank-lock ring, for a tank bag. It’s superb - you put the bag down on the ring and it’s attached, you pull a spring-loaded catch and it’s removed, and it never touches the actual tank so no scratches etc. Highly recommended.

Yes that tank bag thing is very good indeed . Best way of clipping on a tank bag that I have seen .

Not sure if you care about it but Numnum your bike and van plates are viewable in the photo (presuming they’re yours that is…)

Tank bag idea sounds interesting…

what was wrong with the old hugger?

Thanks mate, fixed now

The bike doesn’t have a hugger as standard. Suzuki were cheap and didn’t fit one. Here is what it looked like before…

Not too worried about my plates on display . Anyone tries breaking in … first the alarm will go off … Then 18 stone of fat grumpy night shift sparky with a machette will come stomping down the stairs

I miss by Dispatch NumNum, perfect work and bike van aren’t they?

The van is my house mates . But yes it is the perfect size all round van . It drives very well much better than the ford equivalent .
