How to sort out a scratch?!

Hey all,

I brought tears to my eyes lastnight… I put my bike into the garage and as I was sliding myself down the side of it to squeeze out my belt caught the rear tail and has left an almighty nasty scratch down the side of it. It’s quite deep :crying:

Does anyone have any tips on how to cover it up or mask it from view?.. ive been told about these bodywork strips you can get to put over a scratch and with abit of heat they melt into it. Never heard of them myself!.. anyone used this before?

I use something similar on my snowboard to fill in any guages from my runs down the mountain.

and it is essentially a stick of glue gun glue (but obviously different) and you do exactly as you have said heat it up and fill in the gaps
