Hi just noticed that cylinder head fin on my XJR 1300 is broken. How to rebuild this. I think that tig welder can rebuild this but not sure and another thing is I don’t know where I can find one. Bike is Yamaha XJR 1300. Thank You in advance for any advice and help.
Chemical metal. It will be almost useless as a heat sink, but with a bit of patience and some sandpaper I reckon you could make that damage virtually invisible.
Just ordered J-B Weld is heat resistant up to 500F so should be ok. THX

Find an old aircooled head . Bust of a fin . Shape it to match your missing bit … Stick it on .
