Might have a slight rise in the number of deaths but it’s a small price to pay
The real question is if x = 45, where is this road sign?!
In the USA. It’s in their format and its on the wrong side of the road…
How odd that they don’t use nice round numbers like 40 and 50?
We’re talking about americans being weird and you stop at speed limits? Nevermind the other thread that mentioned one young lady taking a **** on the dancefloor and carrying on regardless…
They’re a weird lot…
Works for me and my Minsk. This is how I converted my speedo from km/h to miles/h to meet VOSA requirements
they cant spell either, its ‘maths’ not ‘math’.
and when we ask for something in a shop, it’s ‘can i have a…’ not ‘can i get a…’
wazzocks
LOL @ Martin
Actually it’s ‘may I have a…’
i dont think so. you’re not asking for a favour, you’re paying for it, so its ‘can i’.
Nope. There’s always a way you can get it but you’re asking them if they would be kind enough to get it for you
Unless you wanted me to ignore you when I worked in retail, it had to be ‘Please may I have…’
Please, may I spend some of my hard earn money in that shop to feed you and your family…
I’m begging you!

Same with me, even then I didnt care much. Dealing with the stupid Public was never one of my strong points…
That is very impressive, bit like one of those brainy games where you have to work out the next number in a series.
I love that the speedo ends at 88miles an hour… If you hit that speed, is that when the minsk travels through time?

‘can i have please’ was implied of course.
Whenever I hear “Can I get…” I am hoping the member of staff will say, “No thats what they pay me for!”
One day, one day…
I’m hoping to hear " Can I get… “, then the response, " Yes Sir, Go on then…”
