This might be of interest, seeing as there has already been some comment. What are the highest and lowest prices you’ve paid for a litre of petrol recently? Grantham North BP last week on the A1, Ultimate was £1.349 a litre. What little hair I have stood on end but I had no fuel so I paid up. On the other hand, the Esso in Blackheath on the A2 was around £1.23 for electric soup. Anyone found a cheaper one in London?
normal unleaded. highest this morning Shell 1.239 :w00t: lowest friday local petrol station 1.19!!
I’ve stopped looking…
I think the local tesco near me is 117.9
between 118.9 - 121.9
Shell Greenford Roundabout 119.9
BP Greenford Roundabout 121.9
The BP on Camberwell Road was 1.19 while the Shell on Walworth Road was 1.20 this morning, normally the Shell is cheaper.
Diesel seems to be between 117.9p and 128.9p - given the mileage I do it’s well worth me keeping an eye out for the cheaper places. I tend not to pay over 119.9p, or at least I didn’t last time I was out in the car (Thursday last week).
It is just disgusting though. I do around 1,000 miles a week and the hike since I started this job is just ridiculous.
Steps off soap box.
i filled up at £1.16 yesterday at tesco in southend.ive not seen it that low anywhere else but its a bit far to go to fill up
Morrison, Camden town, yesterday 117.9. Seems to be always the cheapest.
Shell in Ealing was £1.28 for diesel today … I stuck £20 in and it didn’t even turn the fuel light off in the car :pinch:
ur having a laugh!!! £1.34 ??? wow
mines between 1.17 and 1.21
