The markets saturated with second hand bikes! why???
not everyone is an all out biker some just fancy themselves as bikers Times are hard for some - redundancies, loans, mortgages etc… So first thing that goes when the misses tightens the noose is the bike! You’ll pick up some awsome bargins right now if you got some cash (I dont :P) so ebay is out mate for selling. you’ll just loose money…
Id say sell private away from forums and ebay. Get an add in the free adds or local classifieds. (beware of random tossers calling for viewings that are out to (a) steal your bike (b) barter with half the asking price) You may pick up one of the wanabies with some cash… it will take longer but you will get more buck for your buxum Vtwin. Then use the cash to pick up a bargin on ebay
Factor in the extras and you could prob get £2000+. All comes down to what someones willing to pay.
Sold my K3 for £1750 but it had a dent in the fuel tank and had had a minor off.
maybe less if its seen the floor before, my 1000 K3 was £2400 with all sensible mods,29K, and FSH 1 owner and it had never had a pillion on it let been alone dropped.
I’d be looking at around the 2k mark .TBH, the goodies on the bike don’t add any value to it, and mileage puts some people (eejits) off - some think anything over 15k is high mileage on a bike, FFS !
dude i dont mean to sound funny, but you have come off your SV6 a few times?
give it some thought, i went from a 6 to a thou…i nevere dropped my 6 ever…until some twat knocked me off…and i found going from the 6 to 1000 was a big old leap!! the 1000 will bite you…and bite you fugging hard if you dont respect it…the 650’s will never bite.
R6’s are nice, i think the 05’s are the best ones, the new shape rev like mad, not much fun in town i bet!
Absolutely - I’ve never been put off by mileage (or service history - a lot of dealers haven’t a clue when it comes to servicing).I bought a VFR750 with 77k on the clock a few years back, and my ZX9 had 32k up when I bought it (now got just shy of 56k on it).
