Love it, it was snatchy at first but 1 power commander and DNA air filters on her it seems to have sorted it out a bit, got an Ohlins shock to put on her before the summer and some Ohlins S/Moto forks so she will be blinged up to the eye balls.
I dont get down to London very often especially in the winter as the A1 is a horrid road to ride in the wind and the rain but when the summer gets here I shall be off to meet everyone again in London so hopefully see you there…

I have a DRZ400, but it’s not in SM form right now so can’t wave my flag.
Hey lets not bicker folks My 1st motard was a DR400 (1982 4 stroke twin shock trail bike) with 18 inch road tyres, wisco big bore kit, rac pipe, hot cam and no lights!!!
Didn’t know what a motard was back then 
If its a converted off road bike (or factory) its a motard
Done the same to a 125 KX too Stoopid i know Flat out at 50 
Sadly although I still post in here, I am a fraud
I sold my tard last july
However I did own tards for 4 years and I will be back someday. My new commute meant I had to replace the tard with a Z750

If you had a KTBOOM there is a choice of hundreds, its a shame cos race styles are really really good. The fit is good and the quality is very good and they don’t come off either

I dunno, some of those kits from XGX for the DRZ are proper sex and no cutting req A guy on VD had one of there Cammo kits on a CRF and he was saying the graphics were top quality. Only bummer, would be the tax if it gets stopped at customs

I am relatively new to the SM / Off road world - just invested in an 05 KTM 525EXC . Bllody quick but scares the sh1t out of me on knobblies . Planning to SM the KTM in the summer and would appreciate any opinions or help that I can get . Till then enjoying plenty of " dirty fun " !!

Try the Supermoto forum on Visordown, loads of 525 owners on there. Also try Thumpertalk and there is a KTM forum but can’t remember the name That should help you out
For a starter thou your gonna need wheels (bling ones perferably
see pics) and brakes. After that I guess the suspension might want stiffening up and then the usual pipe/airbox mods.
