I only ask because when the weather get really bad i jump in the car!! Do any others have that luxury???

Another one here. I use the car for commuting most of the time, 30 odd miles each way of winter m40 is a lot more pleasant with the heated seats on 
Yep, got an expensive lawn ornament that hasn’t done more than 500 miles in the last 6 months.
Only reason for using it now is to take V to hospital or out for the day.
I don’t have a car licence… but am committed to doing it before I’m 40 (next aug).
Only to make it easier to pick the kids up weekends, really because I have to take the train to newbury to get them.

I have a car licence, but the Mrs needs the car during the day, so it was the bike or public transport for me. I’ll be buying another car shortly:(

Been riding 7 years! And never bothered to do my car test
although if im totally honest I should have done my test yonks ago. I’d love to have the choice for weekend away and stuff.

I’ve been driving for much longer than riding (hindsight :rolleyes:). I’m a fair weather rider so use my car in the crap weather.

I got my car licence at 17, and bike licence at 35 (though i was riding a scoot on a car licence for 5 years)
I currently own a Mk1 Golf, a VW campervan project and my 400 Bros. But today, given the appaling weather i cycled in. :crazy:
Had a car licence since December 92, passed the bike test in May 2006. I use the car in winter for work, but not cos I’m a fair weather rider, quite happy to ride in kak weather…just the roads I use between home and work are prone to flooding, kak all over the road and furry lil animals…and there’s no street lighting so if something happened to me I’d be stuck in the middle of nowhere or lying on the ground for ages till someone came along…and chances are they’d rob me!

I’ve held a car licence since 1977 and only passed my bike test this June. Even though the weather is crappy today I’ve still come in on the bike because it’s a damn sight quicker than public transport and easier to park at work than coming in the car. The only time I won’t use the bike is when it’s icy or snowing.
I’m almost exactly the same as Cliveaid - except I wasn’t even a twinkle in my dad’s eye in 1977
I passed my car test in 1996, and my bike test this July. I wish I’d done my bike test years ago, though…
I have bike, car and HGV licences.
I’ll always use the bike rather than the car for commuting whatever the weather. Tho’ i’m glad i was off work today!
Got an Audi S8 as well as the bike. Like riding a 4 wheeled bike. Weeeeeeee:D
