What kind of process does anyone use to clean their leathers…or who do they use (and recommend) for cleaning their leathers?
After 5 years of wearing them…(summer and winter)…they need a birthday!!!

‘was your leathers’ ![]()
hey, I don’t bother but I have wiped them down with a bit of kitchen towel when they are damp and used Mr Sheen with a rag. They stink a bit like your nans house but it is cheap and cheerful! I have used saddle wax I ponced off my parents in the past. That is supposed to be the old skool method. If you go to a show they will probably try to sell you a tub for a tenner but you’d never use it all in a lifetime. I’ve only done it once and I’ve had the same jacket for over five years.

I use unperfumed wipes (the ones with lotion) on my leathers and then sometimes they get coated with GWax, which makes them a bit more showerproof.

Haven’t tried either yet.
Outside - I use a damp cloth if they get a bit grubby and some Mer leather cleaner once every 4-6 months.
Inside - Once they start to pong I’ll probably be using one of the above.
The lining for my trousers zips out, so they go in the washing machine.
They probably don’t put a practical feature like that on men’s trousers cos they figure it wouldn’t get used ![]()
