How do I sampling mp3 tracks? What software do I need and any free stuff to do it with. I’m doing a language course and want to sample the recording. To be able to save it and be able to play back exactly what I want. Any help would be appreciated.
How bout trying something like cool edit…google free sound editing software, choose something that says it will convert to mp3. Wave Lab is a good one.
Open up your wav or MP3 in that program. Cut off the bits you don’t want, and save as a 16bit sample rate 44.1Khz or whatever the cd sample rate is… MP3.
I’ll double check what I have, and let you know…I got some stuff with my soundcard.
If you can’t do it, or you’re having problems, PM me, and I’ll do it for you.
Ok, ya, I have creative wave studio here, at work I use Pyramix…it’s a bit like Protools, but easier to use imo.
You should be able to d/l creative wave studio.
Ah thanks, i’ll look into that Cheers
