Up at the neurology hopsital in Queens square today…having a few needles stuck in me to se what is happening with the nerves…hopefully they will find that the nerves that have been re-routed will have grown to the end of their paths and be connecting to my muscles…then its physio all the way…whooppee…

1mm a day is the growth rate for nerves…it takes approximately 2 years fro a nerve to grow the length of an arm…luckily foer me they only have to dash down my back and around my shoulder for about 100 mm max…

How did it go today.
Not great…looks like the bicep working is all a body induced deceipt…my body is trying to find ways to make other muscles do what my bicep did…it doesnt look like it is the bicep at all but my pectorals, and some dizzarre muscles associated with it are trying to move it…
so likely I have to have another operation in a few weeks…bummer…but means we know its needed now…everyday we go forward, its just that some days the world moves just that bit faster…
Blimey, it looked pretty good too. Great that the body has some redundant systems though - every bit helps.

what really gets me is that the bleeper was going crazy in one part of my bicep but they said thats not the bicep…bloody odd to me…interestingly though last time we did the test even this did not bleep…so maybe with a bit more time it will…been working it hard again this evening and will be working it even harder from now on in the hope that it does start working, getting bored with operations…when they wake me up I am a bit of a head case accusing them all of being terrorists and liars and all sorts…bet they are fed up with me too…
was just so bloody hopeful…but life goes on and whatever is happening is happeneing it wasnt just me so something good is going on…if I ned an op I need an op…
