I’ve been finding it increasingly difficult to keep my mouth shut about this but really fee to air this point…
why can’t the police pick up after their horse crapola that is left over the city roads? I mean, its srsly dangerous, especially, say if you are going round a corner and manage to skim on some fresh horse muck - you slip and slide all over the road not to mention get having the horrible pleasure of manure on your tyres.
Why can’t the police have a bucket and spade and pick up after their animal???
surely if they can arrest and electronically tag a biker for loosing mint imperials from his pocket while riding they can do something about what falls out of their horses:D
In Hastings old town and as well in Central Park, NYC, the horses have a nappy which attaches to the back of the horse. In fact a lot of seaside towns have it:
It isnt just police horses, I live outside London and often when I am out for a blast I come across about 3 tons of the stuff right in the middle of a corner:w00t:Then a mile or so up the road you see the horse and rider on the road signaling for traffic to slow down and pass them quietly…FFS, I am riding on the road, not through a paddock:P
Slightly OT so sorry …Do you know what happens to old police dogs/horses Broady? I was once told that they try to re-home the dogs but it’s a real struggle because they aren’t “pets” and are working animals so in most instances they are put down … I always thought it was complete nonesense but have never been able to ask anyone who is even remotely in the know
