I handed my black Honda Hornet 07 plate to Adz in his white van in November for servicing and MOT. He took the service book and keys. I’ve used him for a few years after recommendations and never had a problem. I didn’t think to check on here first… Obviously this isn’t the only problem people have had with him.
He hadn’t finished the work by January but I didn’t mind as I didn’t need the bike back urgently and I gave him the benefit of the doubt. THEN I get a parking ticket through for my bike in Lambeth .
Since then, he has dropped all communication on FB and emails and both mobiles. I have paid him some money up front for the service and MOT as well - stupid but I trusted him at the time.
I have had to report the bike stolen and go to the County Court for a resolution.

WOW im really shocked to hear this because I’ve always had a good experience with adz over the years and always been a good fella on track and rideouts
Thats Shocking, Personally i would’ve questioned why the service wasn’t done within a week (considering it only takes a couple of hours at most) and then demanded it back regardless if i needed it or not.
I know! He’s been great for years, no fuss! Now all of a sudden he’s upped and disappeared with my bike! Gutted in paid some cash up front too, but I’m more worried about where the bikes been or whether it’s been handed on to someone else. Given him plenty of chances to get in touch.
GSXR750 Sam, you’re completely right I should have chased it harder, but it needed a far bit of engine work (undiagnosed problem with the injectors I think) and I gave him the benefit of the doubt. Won’t happen again!
Not that you should have to but have you tried going to the address on the website? I just tried to call the number on there - a mobile and got an instant message saying send a text.
If you are too far away then I’d happily swing by over the next few days?
You would hope there is a very logical reason for this but at the same time I’d be spitting flames!
