Honeymoon in Thailand, anyone done it?

We are looking at the land of lady boys and beaches for our honeymoon this year.

We normally always book our flights and hotel separate rather than paying the margin to a travel company. Virgin holidays have come back with a couple of options incase we want to just handover responsibility and go that route.

We want luxury but not a massive resort, somewhere that has a beach and things to do nearby.

Anyone any thoughts, been before, somewhere you loved?

We honeymooned in Koh Samui, went with Kuoni, stayed at Le Medidien, it was lovely, but not cheap, have fun…

what like hangover 2 style :wink: didnt think it would be a honeymoon sort of location but i know there are some lovely sight seeing locations you can go too.
