Tyres are legal, but fairly old, I have not changed them since everyone has a tyre preference, these are Metzeller Z6, which are a favourite of mine.
They’re not the most universally loved bikes but it’s all relative… it’s a 20th of the cost of… but not a 20th as fast/fun as a Panigale.
I’ve had some grins on track with it going out on “Sport Touring” tyres embarrasing peeps with supercorsas and tyre warmers (shortly before being passed by someone on a 40bhp supermoto with their leg out )
Wish I could justify keeping it, but I can’t sadly.
Sorry to hear you are selling. Sadly as ever they are worth far more as parts than a whole bike.
I could try on vtr1000.org but of course they tend to have one already. Let me know if you want me to try it for you, it has to be this way as you cant post in “Sale or Wanted” until you have 50 posts.
I have 3 other bikes, looking to go down to 2 (despite appearances I have only one ar$3 ). Thanks for the reminder about VTR1000.ORG, pretty sure I have an account on there… will take a gander.
Ta, be sorry to see her go, but I need the money and the space unfortunately.
Bummer… As I said, sensible sub £1k offer and it’s yours (no, I don’t do credit… )
When I got the bike the wheels were yellow powder coated, this started to flake off and I had 2 other mates with near identical red Firestorms, one had OE black wheels, another had Silver 5 spoke CBR(?) wheels and mine had yellow, so I bought a second set of rims and had them sprayed BS Signal yellow just so we could tell our bikes apart still!!
Depends how heavy you are with the wrist. This is the small (16litre) tank model and I have emptied it in 80 miles on the road and 55 ish on track. Equally I have got nearly 100 miles out of a tank driving miss daisy style.
They are not a particularly economic bike fuel consuption wise.
