Good evening all,

I want to get myself a nice 1000 Fireblade (SC57, from 04) or a R1 (RN12, from 2004). I live in London and don’t really want to travel across the whole country to look at a bike (if it is a good one I dont mind).

Does anyone know a good (or big) dealer in London?

Metropolis (Vauxuall) will have all you wnat - but check out the praise and shame bit of the website - they seem to get very mixed reviews.

You can try chiswick honda. They’re not too bad, although when i went looking like a squid asking for an SC44 929 blade wearing only a hoodie, jeans and skate shoes, they kinda didn’t take me seriously! I implicitly asked for an CBR929RR1 SC44 and the thought I was taking the ****… I bought my XR125 from them 5 years ago and they seem to have forgotten that.

Rex Judd’s might have them? They’re an official yamaha dealer… used to be located around the corner from me in Edgware before they moved to west hampstead.

In fact - on one stretch of road you’ve got a Yamaha (George White), then Honda (Motoden Honda), then Suzuki (Motoden Suzuki) … and I think I might have seen a Kwak dealership up there too but not sure

R-evo, I have a mint 2006 R1 in Lava red sat in the garage, with 7000 miles and full yamaha s/h. I think it needs to go to make way for new equipment, interested? If so Ill post up some pics and advertise it proper in the for sale section.
