Hi all first post 
Rencently brought a cbr 125…Problem is when im changing from 1st to 2nd gear it makes a horrible clunk noise.Ive checked chain freeplay and thats fine and also my clutch is ok aswell
What could be causing this?are they supposed to make this noise?

Have you checked the oil level? My CG125 makes a clunking noise when the oil is old or getting low - also I find that the gear shifter gets a bit dry making a bit stiff to get into gear making it clunk again cos you have to apply a bit more pressure on it than normal, I just squirt it with some chain lube and it sorts it out. I change the oil in my bike once a month just to keep it running as sweet as possible til I pass my test 
to be honest, do not stress about it too much as long as it works for you. On the cbr 125 the gear box is the weakness.
