honda cbf chain slider replacement

Hi all,

as the title said the chainslider on my cbf500 is worn and will need to be replaced soon…

any of you has done this before?

will it be ok to lose the rear axle nut, lose the chain enough to unscrew the thing and slide the new in?

Or will i need to take the swingarm off? (please tell me it’s no! :O)

From memory, the back wheel has to come out, slider slides over the swing arm.

looking at it it seems more that the piece will slide forward, near the front sprocket, that’s why i was thinking to lose the chain enough to have room to replace… will check again…
