Honda CBF 500 /07 mirror loose...

Hi all,

I got on the bike yesterday and while adjusting the mirrors I realized that the right one was so loose that it could spin freely. I tried to put it back in place by pressing down on it, screwing it back again, but fearing of breaking it, I decided to leave it and lift up the black rubber of the bottom close to the base, so I could get some pressure, and the mirror would stop spinning in his own base. The mirrors on the bike are stock just like the one here. http://images.wemoto.com/full/MIRROR/10016131.jpg

I assume I caused this by putting the cover to tight and snaping the mirror out of his base somehow the night before.

Any idea how to fix it? it seems simple, but I don´t want to risk it, since I got the bike a couple of weeks ago.

Any help or tip is very welcome!

Thank you in advance

Usually it’s a 2 13mm spanners job , nut on stem , and lock nut ,so you can set the place you want it to go tight at . So tight does not mean mirror pointing in the wrong direction .

Hi Num Num,

I didn´t see any nuts when checking but I will double check tomorrow just in case.

Thank you!

Problem solved!

I did as Num Num said, it was a piece of cake, thanks again!!
