Hi all,
today or tomorrow i’m viewing a 1992 cb400,
seems in preety good conditions and the price is fair
any of you owned it and can tell me what to pay attention to except the usual things, chain suspensions leaks…
also any experiences with it? from reviews it seems a very reliable bike…
I had the old aircooled 70s version 
Superfour or a CB400? Had a CB400SF and they’re great bikes, just keep an eye on the rear shocks. Temp guage in the clock goes and the clocks themselves are expensive, so make sure they’re working. Can’t think of anything else really, they’re a really solid bike.

very nice, unfortunately was restricted to 33bhp, now i’m wondering if most models re like this and if is it a big job to derestrict them…
Just saw this now; I had mine restricted, it’s just washers inbetween the carbs and block, so pretty easy to take out. The airbox is the only tricky bit as it doesn’t like to be pushed around and needs to be shoved backwards to get at the carb rubbers.
I have a Superfour which was restricted, done my two years and then the washers were taken out it wasnt a big job (as my other half did it). I loved the bike so much that even though i have a bigger bike now i still have the superfour and its in great condition and still fun to ride.
