Okay, so we missed the boat on this one. Back at the end of December Honda released details of their XESS CB1000R, but when a bike looks as good as this, I think it’d be a crime to not publish the details and let everyone see.

Doh, Still undecided, like the little touches, the showa fork stems are pretty pimp.
I like it but think adding standard indicators, numberplate hanger and cat/large exhaust to reduce noise and emmisons it will look a bit more ordinary.

People have been babbling on about this in other places for ages. This XESS is a bit of an improvement on the “proposed” standard CB1000R (Not Hornet 1000). Noticably on the exhaust which is ugly as sin like the new Blade one. The other thing that annoys me is the headlamp bit. Which looks too much like Dr Who’s K9.
I would get rid of the Z shaped rad bits as well.
But I will wait to see the beast in the flesh before giving it the total thumbs down.
