If I was going to crash I know which Bike I’d like to be on… An Ejector seat would be more fun though.
I’m sure it wouldn’t take much to adapt the mythbuster idea in the you tube video below to fit on to the goldwing.
Jesus Christ, the car came off worse! Man those Goldwings rock! Hrm, so when do we get them for more regular bikes? I didn’t like the look of the drivers neck as the bike hit. There goes the theory you’re safer in a car: NOT WHEN YOU PULL OUT ON A GOLDWING!
still got two broken legs at least, and did no one realise how far the dumy bounced of the airbag?
so you survive the initial impact, only to be catapulted into the path of a bus!
How awesome does that look. Nailing an unsuspecting driver and him coming off worse. Unless you hit that bus!!!

hmmm…I dont know guys…but looking at the close up it seems to me that without the airbag the rider’s head goes through the glass window whereas with the airbag it lifts higher and crashes onto the metal door frame. I dont know which is worse to be honest. I wonder if there is any research about airbags on bikes and if indeed they save lives.
I think the only research is done by Honda
