High Holborn / New Oxford Street bus lane

Heading into the west-end along High Holborn you are forced through a painful one-way system near the British museum whilst buses can parp down New Oxford Street.

There’s a bus lane there of sorts. All we have is around 10 metres of red-paint with white ‘BUS LANE’ lettering. No advance warning signage or ‘end of bus-lane’. I’ve a few bikes popped through this. Legal?

well its obviously not legal if its a bus lane but would be interested to know if there are any cameras there?
it is only a few metres after all
